Cindy is doing great. She is very active and very happy
most of the time. Cindy was supposed to have surgery this month but it has been put off
for another 3 months. Cindy's VSD's have not closed at all . We are hoping they will close
without surgery. unfortunately her coarctation of
the aorta has returned and may require
angioplasty. On the bright side we only have to take her to the cardiologist once a month
now and she only has to see her pediatrician for vaccinations.

We are awaiting a visit to Cindy's Cardiologist on June
25th. If we make it that long we will have gone an entire month
between doctor visits. Cindy's home health care nurse was placed on
administrative leave and she may lose her job. We are rooting for her
and we will miss her if she gets fired. A home visit would have been nice
last week when I was worried about Cindy. Cindy has been sweating a lot
and that scares me. I asked my next door neighbor who is training to be a nurse
to take Cindy's' heart rate because I was worried about the count I was
getting. She measured Cindy's heart rate at 130 beats per minute. I felt
better after that.

We saw the Cardiologist (Dr. McCloskey at Mary Bridge Children's Health
Center in Tacoma WA.) today, Cindy is doing well. She gained 1.25
pounds since her last visit one month ago. She weighs 15.5 pounds and
she is six months old. I asked for some tips on how to fatten her up
and was instructed to add 1/4 teaspoon of veggie oil to her bottle 4 times
a day. Cindy's blood pressure was high today and if it does not go
down she will have to start taking medicine to lower it. Our next visit
will be two months from now. She will have an EKG an echo with sedation and
a chest X-Ray. The date of her next surgery will be determined then.
