Everyone is thrilled because Cindy has some fat on her body now. The vegetable oil is working.
Her little fingers
are getting nice and fat. I wish I had the energy she has, she kicks and rolls and squeals for
hours. She still wakes
up for a feeding in the night but it has moved up from 4 am to 5:30 am. After she has her 5:30
bottle she sleeps for
an hour or two then she is up for the day. This week I relocated
my favorite chd site on the www. It is written by a doctor and has a lot of details on chd but
is written in very
understandable language. One more thing happened
this week, Cindy cut her second tooth.
Cindy is seven months old now but she had her six month shots and
checkup today. She has gained 2 pounds in the last month! Our next Doctor visit will be with
her cardiologist on the 21st of August. The date of her next surgery will be decided then. I am
really worried about her next surgery. I have heard of so many kids catching terrible staph
infections after surgery. I am having a lot of trouble falling asleep at night. I also wake up at
about 12:50 every am with the thought of Cindy's next surgery on my mind. So I guess I am even
worrying in my sleep!
